Grants of up to $20,000 to Oregon nonprofit social service agencies for projects and activities that benefit the community in eligible locations. Funding is intended for programs and services that improve the physical or mental health of local residents. This cycle has a three-point focus area: housing stability, behavioral health, and childcare/early childhood education. Eligible proposals benefit members of the Hillsboro community.
For purposes of the grant program, social services are defined as programs or activities that address community needs including but not limited to:
Requirements:

- Organizations may submit multiple project applications if the projects support different types of services/service areas.
- An agency will only be considered for a grant if all previously awarded grants comply with grant procedures, including submitting a six-month progress report, if required. Organizations that receive funding for amounts less than $3,000 are not required to submit a progress report.
- Grant requests can be made for all project and activity types that provide social services to residents of Hillsboro.

Pre-Application Information
The 2023-24 Community Services Grant Application process is now open through 11:59 p.m. on September 18, 2023.
In this cycle, organizations may submit multiple project applications if the projects support different types of services/service areas. For example, an organization that has a department providing housing services and a department providing early childhood education services may submit two applications- (1) support housing department programming and (2) support early childhood education programming; the organization could potentially be funded for both projects.
