In-kind donations of equipment and supplies to Florida small businesses and nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for assistance during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. The grant is in the form of personal protection equipment kits that will be distributed to nonprofits and local businesses, including retailers and restaurants, with the goal of sustaining operations during the pandemic. The kits contain 200 procedure masks, 25 reusable cloth masks, 2 boxes of gloves, and 2 bottles of hand sanitizer. Eligible businesses are located in Brevard County.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility:
- You must be a small business, 50 employees or less pre-COVID-19 (March 1, 2020).
- For-profit and non-profit businesses may apply.
- Your business must have been open and operational on January 1, 2020, and still currently open and operational.
- Your business must be physically located in Brevard County.
- A Brevard County business license is required.
- Your business must have experienced lay-off or furloughs due to COVID-19 on or after March 1, 2020.

Small businesses, retailers, and restaurants that have collected free PPE from the County during previous distributions are still eligible for PPE. but must apply.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline to apply is Friday, October 16, 2020.

This is a first-come, first-served program, and applications for eligible businesses will be approved until all funds allocated for this program have been obligated.

The distribution of kits began on Monday, October 12. When filling out an application, businesses are able to choose a preferred location and time to pick up free PPE.
